"Filipino Resilience: Rising Above Adversity and Inspiring Hope"

The Filipino Day Grand Parade 2025 in Albany was a vibrant and meaningful celebration of Filipino heritage, community pride, and cultural unity. Attendees enjoyed a day filled with lively performances, colorful presentations, community participation, and a shared spirit of celebration throughout the event.

Special guests, including local officials, Filipino-American organizations, Asian American and Pacific Islander organizations, parade participants, performers, and supporters from across the tri-state area, joined the Kalayaan 1521 Council Inc. in honoring the rich culture, history, and contributions of the Filipino-American community. From traditional and modern cultural showcases to the energy and excitement of the parade, the celebration reflected the continued growth and strength of the community.

From 800 marchers in 2021 to nearly 4,000 this year, Kalayaan 1521's Filipino Day Grand Parade has grown into a movement that celebrates heritage, unity, and pride. 🇵🇭♥️
